ABOUT US
Big Pine Natives is a small nursery located in western North Carolina, specializing in growing plants native to the Southeast and their unique cultivars. We grow plants from seed and cuttings, with a commitment to sustainable relationships with gardens and environments. Big Pine Natives specializes in growing woodland perennials, grasses, ferns, and pollinator plants. All of our plants are nursery propagated - never wild harvested - and are sustainably and organically grown. Because we are a home nursery, we are not open to the public. To catch up with us, please check our Markets and Festivals tab, or contact us using the contact form on this website.

Planting native "promote[s] wise stewardship of the land and the conservation of our natural resources...and [is] a celebration of our natural heritage. Using native plants contributes to the health and often the restoration of an ecosystem. Planting natives in an urban setting helps restore the character of the land and places fewer demands on resources. [It also] provide[s] food and shelter for native wildlife."
